  • May 3, 2008: 'Key Lime Pie' is an extra-appetizing shade variety of Coral Bells; it's now on our D&K Flowers Etc. page.
  • April 14, 2008: Added  'Snow Angel' Coral Bells to Peggy's Flowers in the Plantsellers section.
  • April 12, 2008: There's a terrific new book out about gardening in Missouri. We added a note on it in Today's Notes.
  • April 10, 2008: Added a beautiful blossoming Cherry Plum tree to A Xeriscape Garden.
  • March 20, 2008: Added photos of Redbuds ready to go, 'Fanfare' Gaillardia, and 'Jane' Magnolia to Wickman's Garden Village in Plantsellers.
  • March 20, 2008: An unusually beautiful tree, Coral Bark Japanese Maple, and a new Daffodil bed designed to display all 13 daffodil divisions are among the newest features in our favorite Master Gardeners Demonstration Garden. We also added to Today's Notes news of the Nature Center Plant Sale coming up April 5th.
  • March 13, 2008: Added a photo and note on the first appearance of the beautiful dwarf iris, Iris Reticulate, to the Home Page and the Demonstration Garden section.
  • March 10, 2008: We added one of Missouri's prettiest wildflowers, a brilliant blue Spiderwort, to the Garden Finds section.
  • March 9, 2008: The 'Aristocrat' flowering pear variety is now included in Wickman's Garden Village in the Plantsellers section.
  • March 8, 2008: Added some beautiful photos by George Deatz of the 2008 Ice Storm in Springfield, Missouri.
  • February 17, 2008: Added several photos to the English Garden, including one taken by the garden's creator, Peter Longley.
  • February 4, 2008: Added a cluster of crocus to the Home Page. 
  • January 29, 2008: Added two spiffy smaller plants--'Little Magnus' Coneflower and the 'Feisty' miniature rose--to the Xeriscape Garden section.
  • January 20, 2008: The Perennial Plant of the Year is the versatile 'Rozanne' Geranium, and we added it to the Home Page.
  • January 7, 2008: Added Japanese Anemone to the Xeriscape Garden section.
  • January 6, 2008: Added more information to the New Botanical Center page.
  • January 2, 2008: Added Variegated Yellow Loosestrife to Earth Mother Gardens in the Plantsellers section.
