'Adagio' Dwarf Maiden Grass (
Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio') is famed for having the greatest abundance of flowers of any of the maiden grasses. The plant forms clumps of graceful, thin green leaves about 4 feet tall and as wide. The flower plumes appear in August in pinkish hues and gradually turn white. This grass likes sun. It's said to be a superb choice especially for small landscapes.
