Gardening in the Ozarks

Sunset at Close ParkEnlarge photo

Butterfly Bonanza
This beautiful photograph of sunset over Close Memorial Park in Springfield, Missouri, was caught by Sandy Reese of Springfield, who wrote us, You may use it in any fashion that you wish for the benefit of the gardens. I loved the many gardens and all the hard work that has gone into making them so beautiful. Happily, we note that more and more people are discovering the botanical gardens in this park, which will surround the proposed Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center. Of the 34 botanical gardens planned, 18 already exist and can be enjoyed by visitors. We thank Sandy sincerely for sharing this photo.
